Tennis Members Tournament

Open to all Odyssey Health Club & Spa members, we are delighted to announce our first ever tennis tournament.

 

This is an opportunity to not only put your tennis match skills to the test, but also join us for a fantastic social event, culminating in a finals day on Sunday 17th July 2022 where we’ll be handing out some amazing prizes, lighting the BBQ for some delicious food, and enjoying some refreshing beverages until the sun goes down.

Prizes

Entrants will be playing for a selection of amazing prizes, including:

  • Trophy for the winner(s) of each category
  • Full Fila clothing outfit
  • Fila sports bag and bottle combo

Categories

When entering the tournament, you can choose from a number of categories:

  • Men’s singles
  • Ladies’ singles
  • Men’s doubles
  • Ladies’ doubles
  • Mixed doubles

(Please note: doubles partners will be selected at random)

Cost

We are offering a 50% reduction in entry fee for this inaugural tournament. Enter each category for just £5.00, payment to be made at the time of entering the tournament.

How to enter

Simply complete the form below and our head tennis coach, Dan Clegg, will be in touch with your fixtures!

You must enter by Saturday 30th April at 9:00pm.

Match information

  • The draw for all matches will be released on Monday 2nd May 2022
  • The tournament format will be knock-out.
  • Format for matches will be best of 3 full sets. 10 point match deciding tiebreak at 1 set all.
  • You will be notified of each opponent by email.
  • Matches are to be played at Odyssey Health Club and will be self-organised and umpired.
  • Scores are recorded by emailing head coach Dan Clegg.
  • You will have 14 days to play each game. If the match hasn’t managed to be played, our tournament organiser will be in touch and will independently adjudicate the situation and decide who goes through to the next round.
  • Guests are very welcome to attend our Finals Day on 17th July. A reminder that we are an over 18s only club and that guests must be booked in ahead of time and checked in at our main reception.
