We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We’re writing to inform you about some exciting developments taking place by Croudace, the building company responsible for the housing development on-site.
Starting tomorrow (Tuesday 24th October), we’ll begin a series of planned works that will bring numerous improvements to our facilities and services. While these works may cause some temporary inconveniences, we want to highlight the long-term benefits they will provide to all of our members.
1. Enhanced Lighting in the Main Car Park
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Croudace will be installing new cabling and activating the main car park lights. This upgrade comes just in time for the approaching winter months when the days grow shorter. The improved illumination will not only make our parking area safer but also enhance your overall experience at the club, particularly during the darker evenings.
2. Mains Drainage Upgrade (Starting Monday, October 30th)
Beginning on Monday 30th, Croudace will commence the long-awaited mains drainage work. This critical improvement will lead to more effective drainage throughout the club. While this work is in progress, some members may experience temporary access issues to the disabled parking area. For any concerns you may have during this period, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at contact@odysseyhealthclubs.com. We will do our best to assist you, including exploring membership suspension options if necessary.
3. Upcoming Works: Water and Electric Mains
Following the drainage work, we have more enhancements planned. Croudace will be laying new water mains in the driveway, which will be followed by the installation of electric mains. While we will confirm the specific dates for these works as they approach, please be aware that these improvements will contribute to the overall stability and sustainability of our club’s infrastructure.
4. Resurfacing of Ramp and Driveway
As agreed, after all the works are completed, Croudace will be resurfacing our ramp and driveway, just in time for the festive season. This means smoother access to the club and much-needed aesthetic improvement.
