Update 03/06/24 1:00pm: Old Knebworth Lane open at both ends! 

Great news, vehicle access is now available from the Stevenage end of Old Knebworth Lane.

Update 03/06/24 8:45am: The access from the Stevenage end of Old Knebworth Lane is still closed to vehicles. 

We will continue to push for them to complete the works, and to communicate with us, and will keep you updated accordingly. Apologies for the inconvenience.

 

Update 01/06/24 9:50am – There is still no access to the Stevenage end of Old Knebworth Lane, however pedestrian access is available.

We will keep you updated and again apologise for the inconvenience.

 

Update 27/05/24 8:20am – Unfortunately there is still no access from the Stevenage end of Old Knebworth Lane. 

Despite what the Causeway website states, there is still ongoing works meaning that vehicle access is still impossible (a huge trench along the middle of the road).

We will keep you updated and again apologise for the inconvenience.

Update 23/05/24 4:02pm – No access, including pedestrians, from the Stevenage end of Old Knebworth Lane. 

We have spoken with Network Rail who are undertaking the works and they have categorically stated that there is no access while they’re working, regardless of the information provided on the Causeway website. We will continue to monitor the pedestrian access and update ASAP, and again we apologise for the inconvenience.

Dear valued members and clients,

Please be advised that there will be roadworks affecting access to our club at the Stevenage end of Old Knebworth Lane from Thursday 23rd May to Sunday 2nd June.

Please note that access to our club will still be available from the Old Knebworth end of the lane.

Looking at the information available, the road looks closed between 23rd – 26th May (pedestrian access still available), traffic access available again for the following week, then traffic lights at the end of the week leading into the weekend. 

We kindly ask you to follow the designated diversions and allow a few minutes extra time to ensure a smooth journey to the club.
