I started in the fitness industry as an assistant strength and conditioning coach after completing my sports degree. During this time, I worked with junior and youth tennis players delivering strength and conditioning to help improve their athletic performance.
From there I completed a strength and conditioning internship at the University of Hertfordshire. I have experience across a range of sports including Football, American Football, Netball, Golf, Basketball, Swimming, and Rugby. We would assess the needs of the athlete and their sport, prescribing them a programme to improve their athletic performance in key areas as well as monitoring their progress.
I also enjoy helping people towards other non-sport related health and fitness goals. Weight loss and toning, improving strength, general fitness, and health related issues are some common goals that I have assisted people with in the past.
I like to take a tailored approach to training; really listening to what you want and using my experience to give you something that works for you and provides you with the confidence to build new sustainable habits and keep things moving forward!
