Very simple, not just for decoration.
When you sit down, look behind you. Are they in line with your shoulder?
If not, you should adjust the height of the seat to line your shoulders to the yellow tabs.
This will ensure your body is aligned with the kit and in the correct placement for the exercise.
You will notice these on the following machines
- Chest Press
- Pectoral
- Vertical traction
- Shoulder press
- Overhead press
